Dina Lohan Wasnt Drunk on Dr. Phil, She Was Edited

The other day, Dr. Phil released a new preview for the Monday episode of his show. Featuring an interview with Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s mother, the video showed an apparently intoxicated or high Dina acting out, making little to no sense and basically making a fool of herself.

The moment the video hit the net, speculation on what she might have been on started, with most people inclining to believe she was drunk.

A brief statement from Dina’s ex-husband, Michael Lohan, also included in the preview, saying “Was she drinking before she came on your show?” contributed to that impression.

In a statement to TMZ, Dina denies she has any alcohol or substance abuse problem.

The only reason she may have come across as under the influence was because the footage, shot several months ago, was edited specifically with the purpose of making her look bad.

“I don’t care what it looks like. I’m fine and I don’t care what anyone says,” Dina says in the statement.

Oddly enough, Dina is not upset with the show’s producers for putting her in such a bad light. If anything, she understands why they’d do that because they are gunning for better ratings.

“All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That’s their job. I don’t blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I’m fine. I’m fine,” Mrs. Lohan insists.

She also tells TMZ that she’s a “good mom” and viewers will be able to see that once the full interview airs this Monday.

“I think the interview will be good. I know what I said and the facts are what the facts are. The proof is in the facts. The truth will set you free,” Dina says.

Below is the preview that’s been keeping people talking about a possible abuse problem. Useless to say, not many are buying into the “it’s the editing” explanation. Are you?
