Accesso Announces Support for Passbook in iOS 6

Accesso, a provider of ticketing solutions for top attractions across North America, will be one of the first ticketing suppliers to support Passbook, a new application in Apple’s upcoming iOS 6.

Offering tickets for everything from theme parks and water parks to zoos, concerts and sporting events, Accesso believes there’s a true business opportunity in Apple’s Pasbook app.

With its new solution, customers will be able to import ticket purchases from 11 Cedar Fair Entertainment theme parks, as well as the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, directly into Passbook on their iPhones.

To be noted that Passbook is not an exclusive feature to Apple’s upcoming iPhone, but one that comes with iOS 6, a free software update that Apple has readied for existing iPhone and iPad owners.

iOS 6 is likely to be released for this month, to keep everyone on feature-parity when the iPhone 5 comes out.
