Valve Reveals Documentary About Dota 2 Players

Valve has revealed a brand new non-game project, in the form of a documentary about players of its upcoming Dota 2 video game, charting their origins, their lives, and their presence at last year’s Dota 2 championship.

Dota 2 is going to be released this year but Valve has had the game in closed beta test for quite some time, even organizing a special competition last year, called Dota 2 – The International, with a top prize of $1 million (€809,000).

In order to mark the occasion, Valve employed a team of filmmakers to chart not just the competition but also the players who attended the large scale event.

The documentary is almost done and, in order to hype up its release, Valve has revealed the first trailer on GT.TV.
