Nissan Has Plans to Build All-Electric SUV

Seeing how SUVs are regarded by most environmentalists as being top-polluters, it comes as no surprise that automakers are constantly looking into the possibility of making them more environmentally-friendly by cutting down on the amounts of fossil fuels they use and by making them run on renewable energy sources.

Rumor has it that, during this year's Paris Motor Show (the 29th of September – the 14th of October), Nissan will unveil an all-electric SUV concept vehicle, thus setting a new goal for itself and for automakers worldwide.

Apparently, speaking on behalf of the company, Jeff Fisher (i.e. Nissan Australia's General Manager of Media Enquiries) recently told the press that, “At Paris... [Nissan will] have an SUV concept, with zero emissions; so an electric SUV concept vehicle.”

From where we stand, being able to opt for yet another green-oriented SUV is something bound to bring joy to many drivers who also happen to be environmentally-responsible.
