Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC Gets Launch Trailer

BioWare has unveiled the launch trailer for its upcoming Mass Effect 3: Leviathan downloadable add-on, ahead of its release next week, on August 28.

Mass Effect 3 came out back in March and was supported by BioWare with all sorts of DLC ranging from add-ons for the multiplayer mode, to expansions for the single-player, like the long awaited Extended Cut pack.

Now, new missions are added to the single-player campaign through the upcoming Leviathan DLC.

The add-on takes the protagonist, Commander Shepard, on a new mission in the depths of several alien planets in order to see if a mystical being known only as the Leviathan can help destroy the evil Reapers.

Besides the new adventures, two new weapons, the AT-12 Raider Shotgun and the M-55 Argus Assault Rifle are also included in the DLC.

Mass Effect 3: Leviathan is out on August 28, for PC and Xbox 360 owners from all around the world as well as PS3 owners in North America, while European PS3 users need to wait until August 29 to get the DLC, which costs 800 BioWare Points/800 MS Points/$10/€10.

Until then, check out the launch trailer above.
