Kings Bounty: Warriors of the North Is Official, First Trailer and Details Available

1C Company has confirmed that it’s going to release a brand new installment in the popular King’s Bounty turn-based strategy series, in the form of King’s Bounty: Warriors of the North, which puts players in the shoes of a new hero called Olaf.

King’s Bounty games have delivered an old-school turn-based strategy experience that reminded many players of classic installments from the Heroes of Might & Magic series.

After releasing several new installments and expansions, in the form of Armored Princess or Crossworlds, 1C Company has confirmed that a new title is coming, in the form of King’s Bounty: Warriors of the North.

According to the publisher, over 60+ hours of gameplay are included in the new title, with players taking on the role of Olaf, the son of the Northling King.

“Olaf dedicates his life to the fight against the undead infesting the Northern Lands of Endoria and he will face epic battles, valor and love. Accompanied by gorgeous Valkyries who will assist him on the battlefield, he will liberate the icy wastelands of the North and Darion, the heart of the Endoria, from the reign of the evil Necromancer.”

King’s Bounty: Warriors of the North is going to be released for PC at the end of 2012. Until then, check out the first trailer above.
