Few are the women who can honestly say they like themselves better older, as compared to their younger versions, but Gwyneth Paltrow is one of them. In a new interview, she boldly states she doesn't mind aging.
With a body and a face like hers, who could blame her for saying these things.
“I like being older,” Gwyneth says in an interview cited by the Daily Mail.
“It’s nice to really know yourself and feel relaxed. And I actually think I look better now than I did when I was 24, so I’m very comfortable with myself,” she adds.
For those who don't know, Gwyneth has a reputation for one of the hardest working celebrities when it comes to her body: she's always on a strict diet and exercise routine, and is one of the advocates of juicing to detox and help boost metabolism.
It's hard work but it pays off: she's a mother of two and can boast a better biking body than many women half her age.
Speaking of her kids, in the same interview, Gwyneth admits she doesn't like Los Angeles that much because it keeps her so busy it's keeping her away from her two kids.
“When I’m in LA, I’m always packing things in. I tend to be really busy – my doctors are out there, Apple’s orthodontist, that kind of thing. Plus, that’s where I focus on movie stuff and I see all my friends. It changes more – I tend not to spend all my time with the kids,” she says.
At home in the UK though, she's a mother first and foremost. Gwyneth explains how motherhood redefined her life.
“I feel like motherhood has given me all my happiness and a real life: a husband, my children and everything that’s invested in that. Every woman is different, but for me that’s where I’ve gotten my real happiness,” she gushes.
