Gamescom 2012: The Best Images of Day One

My schedule during the first full day of Gamescom 2012 was dominated by meetings with various developers and publishers, but I managed to get some time to roam the show floor and take a few pictures of the crowd and the various stands.

Gamescom is a large show, covering 2 halls that are exclusively for business meetings and another 4 which are open to the public and host the stands of the developers and the publishers.

This year the organizer also attached a new 10th hall where it has a full-fledged skating course setup and other areas where real world entertainment gets a bigger presence than video games.

One of the most impressive sights of the day has been the promotional effort for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which includes three very good looking cars arranged so that they seem to be engaged in a real world race on the show floor.
