EA Games Has Big Plans for Windows Phone Platform

It looks like Microsoft’s mobile platform, Windows Phone, is more and more attractive to developers. The last big name that adds to the list of important Windows Phone devs is Electronic Arts.

EA Games’ Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore said to Bloomberg that the company is “working very closely with Microsoft to understand what their views on gaming navigation are. Anything that allows more platforms to be adopted quickly that have a gaming element is good for Electronic Arts.”

It looks like Electronic Arts bets big on Windows Phone 8, especially that the platform complements Microsoft’s Windows PC platform.

We’re not sure yet which franchises EA plans to bring to Windows Phone 8, but the company will be an important factor for the platform’s expansion in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
