Diablo 3 Reaches 10 Million Units Sold

Blizzard has confirmed that its recently launched Diablo 3 role-playing dungeon crawler has reached over 10 million units sold since its launch back in May.

Diablo III was eagerly awaited by millions of fans, but the actual launch was much more popular than Blizzard had anticipated, resulting in lots of connectivity problems and issues with its Battle.net servers.

After confirming that the game broke sales records on the PC, managing to sell over 6.3 million units in its first week on sale, Blizzard has now revealed that, as of late July, over 10 million copies of Diablo 3 have been sold all over the world.

This is quite impressive, considering almost three months have passed since the game’s release.

No other sales data has been given, but Blizzard has already pledged that it’s going to continue updating the role-playing game in order to satisfy fans who are hungry for new content.

Expect to hear more about Diablo 3’s future plans soon enough.
