Competitive Multiplayer Coming Soon to SSX, Video Hints

SSX, Electronic Arts’ recently launched snowboarding game, is set to receive its long-awaited competitive multiplayer mode soon, at least according to a teaser video that’s just been posted by the publisher.

SSX appeared at the beginning of spring and delivered a pretty stylish snowboarding experience, reminiscent of the previous games from the series.

Besides challenging players to complete all of the various descents from the game’s single-player mode, its online component, dubbed RiderNet, also tasked them with beating the times of their friends.

While this became quite addictive by fueling the competitiveness of SSX fans, many players still wanted a true competitive multiplayer mode.

Their wish is coming true soon enough, as EA has just posted a special video, showing off the start of such a competitive match.

No other details are given, but this new feature is going to appear this summer, according to EA. Until then, check out the teaser video above.
