For many, combining two rival products in a single one seems highly unlikely and hard to imagine, but there are also those who believe that such a combination would result in great things.
Vietnamese designer Pham Tran Hai is one of those people, and he came up with a BlackBerry concept handset that is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system.
For that, the designer imagined the new BlackBerry PlayPhone device with a wooden back case, in one stance, and with a golden plate on the back, in another.

The specs list this smartphone comes with is impressive as well, starting with the 4.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display on the front, capable of delivering an HD (1280 x 720 pixel) resolution.
Powered by a quad-core application processor complemented by 1GB of RAM, the BlackBerry PlayPhone would be capable of offering some nice performance levels, that’s for sure.

On the back, the new device would sport a 12-megapixel photo snapper capable of shooting videos in full HD resolution and powered by Nokia’s PureView technology. A front camera is also present on this device, to enable video calling.
Having Windows Phone 8 loaded on a BlackBerry smartphone could seem farfetched for some, but this BlackBerry PlayPhone concept looks appealing enough to make us start dreaming of it becoming a reach device, one should agree. You can have a look at more images with it on DeviantArt.
