Black GALAXY S III Possibly Coming to Carphone Warehouse

It looks like Samsung plans to release a black-themed Galaxy S III in the following weeks. The device leaked a few days ago, but no details on its arrival surfaced at that time.

However, the guys over at AndroidPolice have been tipped on the alleged black Samsung Galaxy S III, which seems to be real after all.

Although the pictures that leaked on Facebook earlier this week and showing the supposedly black Galaxy S III were considered fakes, new details on the upcoming device have just emerged.

A screenshot taken from Carphone Warehouse's internal product database indicates that the retailer plans to release a Samsung Galaxy S III in black.

Even though there are no additional details on the phone's availability and pricing options, we are tempted to believe that the information is accurate and that Samsung will launch the device in the UK in the following weeks.

Rumor has it that the South Korean company will announce additional color-schemes for Samsung Galaxy S III at IFA 2012 trade fair, in late August.

Still, we don't have any confirmations that this might happen, but at least we can expect the black Galaxy S III will be making its way onto shelves in a matter of several weeks.

Given the fact that the black Galaxy S III will be launched in the UK via Carphone Warehouse, we can safely assume that this will be the international version of the smartphone with HSPA+ support and an Exynos quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz.

Nevertheless, we suspect Samsung will introduce the black Galaxy S III in other regions as well, including North America and Australia, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.

For the time being, those who wish to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S III can grab the smartphone in pebble blue or the marble white colors.
