Windows Embedded Compact 7 June 2012 Update Available

Microsoft has made available for download the entire set of updates pushed to Windows Embedded Compact 7 during June 2012 in the form of a single package, now available through its website.

As usual, the package includes various fixes for the issues found to affect the performance of the platform, and which have been released in the period of June 1 - June 30, 2012.

“These updates are fixes for problems you may run into during the development and maintenance of your custom platform. To qualify for consideration for an update, a problem needs to cause an excessive amount of work and not have a reasonable workaround,” Microsoft notes.

The new download comes with support for Windows CE, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP Service Pack 3 and requires Windows Embedded Compact 7 or Windows Embedded Compact 7 Evaluation Edition to be installed.
