Apple subsidiary FileMaker Inc. has announced its certification program for FileMaker 12. Earning your “degree” will be a key qualification for developing professional FileMaker solutions for the desktop, iOS and the web, said the company.

The official credential offered by FileMaker, Inc., FileMaker 12 Certification is regarded as a crucial asset for developers looking to advance their skills and potential in a professional environment.

Independent consultants and / or in-house developers will be able to use FileMaker 12 Certification to expand their skill set and become a more well-rounded developer (listen up, iOS devs), and to “gain a competitive edge over other developers.”

The certification is said to add credibility to your organization, and you’ll get to use the FileMaker Certification logo on your website and business cards. Finally, you’ll also get a preferred listing on the FileMaker web site (FBA members only).
