David Letterman Reveals The Dark Knight Rises Ending Video

David Letterman may have accidentally revealed the ending of the most anticipated movie of the year, Chris Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises,” if the video above – and what fans are saying online – is any indication.

Anne Hathaway, who plays Catwoman in the third and final Batman installment, was on Letterman the other day to talk about the film, when he seemed to be giving away more than Anne would have liked.

“I saw this movie, the Batman movie. And in the end, Batman is dead,” he said, drawing a rather furious “Dave!!” from Anne.

“He's not dead!” he continued, but Anne still warned him that he'd just put himself in the hot spot for saying this on TV.

While some believe that Letterman really did give away the ending, more voices online point out that he couldn't have. The show is pre-taped so, assuming he did spill the beans, the bit would have never made it on air.

Then again, even if he was just jesting, he could still be in a world of trouble – if the ending coincides with what he said.

Fans must already know that one of the most circulated theories about how “the legend ends” involves Batman's death at the hands of Bane.
