Google+ Has 150 Million Monthly Active Users, 75 Million Come Back Every Day

Google+ is one year old. The social network/social layer has its fair share of critics, but Google has too much running on it to give up too easily. One of the criticisms has focused on Google's vagueness about user numbers.

Until now, it only talked about Google users that connected with Google+. Finally, Google is talking about active users.

The company said that there are now 250 million people that have activated their Google+ profiles. That's an impressive number, but it doesn't say much.

However, Google says there are now 150 million people that are active on Google+, in the stream, every month. That's no small feat.

What's more, Google says half of those are active each and every day, 75 million people visit the Google+ site each day. Usage is on the rise as well, active users spend some 12 minutes every day on the site.
