On July 4th, "Take Action" with Google to Protect the Internet, It Only Takes a Click

Google is asking for your support for an open and free internet.

Today being the birthday of the country with the greatest respect for freedom, of any kind, on the planet, Google believed it to be the perfect time to underline that the open and free internet that the US has generously given us, the rest of the world, is under threat.

In fact, only you can help fight back the tyranny, but, fret not, it's not as hard as it sounds.

You don't really have to do anything, just take a few seconds out of your precious time, fill in your name and email address and that's it, you have now "taken action."

That is, if "taking action" is having your wonderfully inspiring words added to a recreation of the American flag, the universal symbol of freedom. If there's one thing that captures the essence of the border-free and global internet it's the American flag.

Don't worry if you're not clear what you're taking action against, Google's video sure isn't telling you, but rest assured that action is being taken.
