Jesse Eisenberg Draws Attention to Plight of Exotic Birds in PSA

We've said it before and we'll say it again: Jesse Eisenberg can't really do anything wrong these days. Not only is he a very talented actor, but he's also got a golden heart to match it.

Jesse and The Humane Society of the United States have joined forces for a PSA meant to draw attention to the inhumane treatment of exotic birds.

Eisenberg starts by drawing a parallel to the character he voices in the animated film “Rio,” Blu. There are millions of birds like Blu who have never known real freedom.

“I hope that 'Rio' has helped audiences think twice about buying an exotic pet bird. If an animal's natural home is in the wild, then chances are that's where it belongs,” Jesse says in the video.

Point well made, sir.
