Guardians of Middle Earth Gets First Gameplay Video

Developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. have released the first gameplay video for their upcoming Guardians of Middle Earth, the MOBA title that is set to be launched on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 later during the year.

The video shows how players will be able to use the various heroes from the Lord of the Rings universe in order to battle each other and hordes of lesser enemies.

Guardians of Middle Earth offers no less than 20 characters to master and the game supports up to ten players battling in teams of five.

There’s a strong emphasis on cooperation between the various heroes and only the teams who are able to communicate and work together can aim for victory.

Monolith also offered some information on how the console controller scheme will work, with four abilities mapped to the face button and the player having the options to redefine the way the system works for each one of its characters.
