GitHub for Android Now Available for Download

The folks at GitHub has just released an Android client of their popular application. GitHub for Android allows users to create, manage and talk issues, as well as stay up to date with an integrated news feed.

Moreover, users will be able to check their issues dashboard in order to stay connected with everything they have reported in.

In addition, they can also view and filter a repository's issue list and put it among favorites for later quick access.

However, many GitHub users complained that the application has limited functionality. Hopefully, developers will update the Android application with more features and improvements.

Given the fact that GitHub is open source, the application is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
