In between releasing new updates and patches for Diablo 3, Blizzard has confirmed that it was going to update the game’s website and allow players who are logged in to have much richer profiles with all sorts of information about their characters.
Now, Blizzard has confirmed that new things are also coming to the Diablo 3 website, thanks to an overhauled version of the Profile system, which allows players to review all of their character information, as well as share it with others and examine the achievements of their friends.
“You’ll be able to look at your heroes (or your friends’ heroes) from any page on the Diablo III site through our personalized menu. If you’re curious about the exploits of your fellow forum posters, it’ll be a simple matter to click over to their profiles and feel envious of their gear or how long they’ve managed to keep their Hardcore characters alive,” Blizzard said.
At first, only two tabs will be available in this Profile system, one that highlights the player’s career and progress, while the second focuses on his or her heroes.
A career tab that displays all of your heroes, how far you’ve progressed in the Diablo III campaign, how many foes you’ve slain, the names and playtimes of your fallen Hardcore heroes, and more.
A heroes tab that shows off your equipment (including dyes, socketed gems, all equipment bonuses, etc.), your attributes and skills, the skills and equipment of your Followers, and more.
More features will be added to this profile system, including tabs for artisans or achievements, in the near future.
