You Can Uninstall and Update Apps from the Play Store Site Now

Google unveiled quite a lot of things during the first day of Google I/O, several new devices, plenty of updates. But it couldn't cram everything into the keynote speech, or even in the subsequent announcements.

One of the new things that flew somewhat under the radar is an update to the Play Store website, which enables users to remotely manage their apps, i.e. uninstall or update them.

Users have had the ability to install apps remotely for a while now, but with the new additions, app management is complete.

You can clean up your device with just a few clicks, a boon if you've been meaning to uninstall several apps but haven't gotten around to it.

The feature is now live, you'll see it via the "My Android Apps" tab in the Play Store website. It could do with a couple more features, like an "update all" button, but overall it's a nice addition.
