Canadian carrier Mobilicity has just announced the immediate availability of the affordable BlackBerry Curve 9320. The smartphone can be purchased beginning today for a special introductory no-term price of $149.99 CAD price while supplies last.
According to Mobilicity, the phone’s price will jump up to $199.99 CAD after the sale ends. The new Curve 9320 goes on sale just in time for Father's Day and the school graduation season.
The entry-level BlackBerry Curve 9320 can be paired with Mobilicity’s unlimited talk, text and data wireless plans.
In addition, BlackBerry Curve 9320 features RIM’s traditional QWERTY keyboard along with a new dedicated BBM key that allows users to access popular mobile social networks in an instant.
In this regard, the smartphone comes with preloaded apps for Facebook and Twitter, as well as the Social Feeds 2.0 app, allowing owners to post updates to more than one social network at the same time.
Users can also capture updates from news sources, social apps and instant messaging apps in one location, which provides a better view on the latest updates.
RIM claims the BlackBerry Curve 9320 offers the longest-lasting battery life yet in a Curve family smartphone: up to 7 hours of talk time, up to 30 hours of music playback, or up to 432 hours of standby time.
The device packs 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). There’s also a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and image stabilization.
The Curve 9320 sports a small 2.44-inch standard display that supports 320 x 240 pixels resolution and 65k colors. Other highlights of the phone include built-in FM radio, GPS with A-GPS support, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Check it out here.
