Dead Island Riptide Confirmed for PC and Consoles, More Details Coming Soon

Deep Silver has confirmed that a full-fledged sequel to last year’s Dead Island game is coming, in the form of Dead Island Riptide, which is currently in development at Techland.

Dead Island impressed quite a lot of zombie game fans and, even if it was a whole new property, the title managed to sell over 3 million copies since its launch last year.

Despite claiming that a sequel isn’t in development, Deep Silver has now confirmed that a new game is coming, in the form of Dead Island Riptide.

As of yet, no other details are known about this new zombie game, only that it’s in development at Techland and will be launched on PC and consoles.

A full-fledged reveal of the game will be made later this summer, according to Deep Silver, so expect to hear some actual details in the near future.
