Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE Now Available at Sprint for $199 USD (160)

Sprint and Motorola Mobility confirmed the upcoming availability of the Photon Q 4G LTE. As expected, the smartphone has just gone live at Sprint and is now up for grabs online and at the carrier’s brick and mortar locations.

Customers who wish to purchase the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE can do so via Sprint for a suggested retail price of $549.99 USD (€445).

Those who don’t mind being tied by a long-term contract can grab the smartphone for only $199.99 USD (€160) with a new two-year agreement. Check it out here.

This Android smartphone sports a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which is among the handset’s main selling points.

In addition, Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE is powered by Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, unlike many other Motorola high-end devices available on the market.

Another strong point of the smartphone is the included 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM.

There’s more to it, as Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE embeds 8GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

It also comes with NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities, as well as LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 support.

On the back, the device boasts an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary camera for video calls.

Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE sports a 4.3-inch qHD ColorBoost capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, and that features scratch-resistant glass.

Last but not least, the smartphone is powered by a 1785 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 220 hours of standby time (in 3G mode) and up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of talk time (in 3G mode).
