Mod Tools for The Witcher 2 Coming Soon

CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the quite successful The Witcher 2, has confirmed that it’s going to release a set of mod tools for the game, titled REDkit, which is going to allow players to create their own content for the PC version of the game.

Modifying PC games is a hobby among many players who want to enhance or sometimes fix the title they paid good money for.

As such, in order to please its fans, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it’s going to release a special set of mod tools for The Witcher 2, in the form of the REDkit.

According to the studio, the tools will “allow any player to create their own content for the PC version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, such as new, non-linear adventures, great looking locations and much more.”

Not a lot is known, but you can expect to hear more about these tools later this week, once the studio officially presents them at Gamescom 2012.
