Chromebook Owners Get a New Chrome 22 in Dev and Chrome 21 in Beta

Chrome OS users are getting the same treatment as rest of the Chrome users, which is not always guaranteed. Both the dev and the beta channels of Chrome OS have gotten an update. Chrome 22.0.1229.0, part of Chrome OS 2723.0.0, is in the dev channel, Chrome 21.0.1180.78 (OS 2465.116.0) is in the beta channel, virtually the same versions as regular Chrome.

Note though that Chrome 20 is still in the stable Chrome OS channel whereas Chrome 21 has been pushed to the regular stable channel.

The dev update contains the usual array of fixes and improvements as Google is getting ready to push Chrome 22 to the beta channel.

The beta channel release though is more interesting. It comes with a brand new Pepper-flavored Flash 11.3.31.226 as well as a new GTalk 3.3.3 plugin, the thing that powers Google Talk and Google+ Hangouts.
