Twitter Shows Off Its New Gorgeous HQ

Twitter is growing up, it's no Facebook, but it's certainly not the scrappy startup it was just a few years ago. It's been hiring like crazy for a few years now and its former headquarters got pretty crowded.

Twitter took the obvious route and moved nest to a brand new location, crucially, still in its hometown of San Francisco.

That may not seem like a much of a surprise, but Twitter was getting ready to leave town due to high taxes. Thankfully, it was able to get some serious tax cuts for it and other startups that agreed to relocate to a less-than-glamorous part of the city.

"Now our new space is ready, and we’re on the move to Market Square. We’re especially pleased to benefit from the considerable effort Shorenstein has taken to revitalize not only a beautiful landmark property, but a corner of the City that had fallen on hard times," Twitter wrote.
