Tryst Puts Emphasis on Customization with ARM

Developer BlueGiant Interactive has announced that it is working on a new real-time strategy title called Tryst, which will allow players to control one of two factions in a distant future when humanity is fighting with a mechanical alien race called the Zali.

The unique feature of Tryst is the Augmentation Research Mechanism, which will allow gamers to equip each unit that they produce with a range of load-outs based on the situation they are facing that can enhance their natural abilities or can work to limit their disadvantages.

The game will have resource management, base building and research and gamers will also have to deal with a number of environmental hazards, with all game maps filled with dangerous areas where enemies can be lured in.

BlueGiant Interactive promises a full length campaign and multiplayer matches allow up to 8 gamers to do battle on one map.

Online features will include matchmaking, clans, stat tracking, leaderboards, replays and ratings.
