Michael Fassbender Tells Jimmy Fallon About Failed Career as a Rocker

He might be one of the hottest actors on the scene right now but, as it turns out, Michael Fassbender didn't want to be one from the get-go. Watch his admission on Jimmy Fallon the other night in the video below.

After explaining to Fallon that he was born in Germany, grew up in Ireland and is now living in London, Michael also reveals that he hadn't known from the start that he wanted to be an actor.

He didn't want to get into the hotel business either, as his parents: he wanted to be a musician.

“I didn’t know what I wanted to be. I wanted to be a musician, I was into heavy metal, I wanted to be a lead guitarist in a heavy metal band,” he says.

After playing just one gig, Michael eventually gave up all hope of ever having a career as a successful rocker.
