Shortly after wrapping her Catwoman role in “The Dark Knight Rises,” Anne Hathaway started preparing for “Les Miserable,” a part that required her to lose a lot of weight and chop off her long hair. Her fiancé hates that.
Just recently, Anne admitted that she was on a diet of hummus and radishes for the role in “Les Miserables,” which made her break out and, most likely, experience mood swings.
It's not that he doesn't respect and admire her for her dedication but rather that, when he looks at her now, he hardly recognizes the woman he proposed to, unnamed sources say for the publication.
Anne and Adam have been fighting a lot recently, with friends fearing that her career choices might take a heavy toll on their once beautiful relationship.
“Annie and Adam have been bickering a lot recently. It all started when she went on those radical diets for Les Miserables. They made her moody and irritable, and it really caused issues for them,” the insider says.
It's not just the diet that Adam is opposed to for what it's doing to Anne.
“He loved her long, brown hair. He’s going around telling people his fiancée looks like a sickly little boy,” notes the spy.
Anne is so focused on her work that she doesn't even manifest the same interest in starting a family, which makes Adam question her earlier comments, when she would talk to him about having babies.
“He’s really upset, because they were on this family track and now all Anne can talk about it work. Adam was trying to be nice to her, but she’s not exactly the girl he fell in love with anymore,” says the insider.
As a side note, considering the source, all of the above are probably best taken with a grain of salt.
