Although it is a minor build, the changes available in the freshly released Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6.6.0.1 are pretty important, as both stability and functionality have been improved.

Important issues, such as memory leaks or a crash in automatic game mode switching, have been done away with. Additional changes referred to bugs affecting Commandline Scanner component like problems with file extensions filter, early termination of process.

Also improved in the current revision is the service stop protection, which is now bound to the self-protection setting.

Other notable modifications consist in improving import speed for hosts file, fixing a bug that caused the application from correctly saving the new rules.

Just like in the case of Emergency Kit, the scanner window is displayed at the end of the process and no longer pops up for each detection.
