AMD Announces the Official 900 MHZ Edition of Radeon HD 7750

In an hard work to be prepared for Nvidia&rsquos GeForce GT 640 approaching launch, AMD has determined to officially design and style and announce a speedier version of the corporation &rsquos Radeon 7750 video card.

The new version will have specifically the very same configuration as the &ldquoold&rdquo Radeon HD 7750, but the &ldquoCape Verde&rdquo GPU will be clocked at a substantial 900 MHz.

The card will reportedly join the rest of AMD&rsquos GCN lineup without having receiving a various or unique name scheme. It will simply be called AMD Radeon HD 7750.

Initially, AMD&rsquos Radeon 7750 was created to perfectly fit the 75 watt energy consumption envelope and the GPU has, up until now, been clocked at 800 MHz.

Now the company has just relaxed the card&rsquos energy constraints and we have the 900 MHz version.

The two versions of the cards will regrettably coexist.

This is most likely simply because AMD wants 1 version to counter attack Nvidia&rsquos GeForce GT 640 launch and yet another that will hold boosting the minimal electrical power consumption so that it will greater fit the electrical power constraints of different OEMs.

Pricing will also continue to be unchanged.
