Watch: The Official Video for Earth Hour 2013

For those unaware, Earth Hour is presently the largest green-oriented campaign in the world, seeing how hundreds of millions of people in about 7000 cities and towns spread across 152 countries and territories now take part in it.

The main idea is that, in order to raise awareness with respect to environmental protection, all households and businesses must turn off their non-essential lights for one hour.

In 2013, Earth Hour will take place on the 23rd of March, and the people at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) hope that ever more people will join their cause and hit their light switches all at the same time.

Besides turning off their lights, people can take part in the “I Will If You Will” dare and support each other in embracing a greener lifestyle.

As one comment to this video puts it, “Challenge accepted.”
