The Paperboy Trailer: Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron Have an Affair

The first trailer for Nicole Kidman's most recent film, “The Paperboy,” is finally out. After premiering at the Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim, the film will be out in the US in limited release this fall.

Nicole Kidman plays the trashy, shameless Charlotte, who contacts a journalist (Matthew McConaughey) and his younger brother (Zac Efron) to ask them to help her get her death row inmate boyfriend (John Cusack) out of jail.

As they investigate the murder that he doesn't appear to be guilty of, Efron and Kidman's characters start a torrid affair that, as imagined, can't possibly end well for them.

David Oyelowo and Macy Gray also star.

“The Paperboy” is directed by Lee Daniels, who also brought us the critically acclaimed “Precious.” It will be out in October.
