Injustice: Gods Among Us Gets Plot Details, Catwoman Trailer and Screenshots

Warner Bros. and developer NetherRealm have revealed a brand new character for their upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting game, in the form of the luscious Catwoman, while the first plot details have been leaked on the web.

Injustice: Gods Among Us impressed a lot of people back at E3 2012 when it was revealed to the world as a gritty fighting game starring various DC Comics characters, ranging from superheroes to supervillains.

Now, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have revealed a brand new fighter, in the form of the lovely Catwoman, who stars in the video above and in the screenshots below.

What’s more, The Examiner has also found the first plot details about the game, via a summary posted by Blur Studios, the company behind the first Injustice trailer.

“An all-out battle rages between the forces of Superman and those allied with Batman’s rebellion. Time has stopped—the world completely frozen in an instant of time—a moment where violence has boiled over and could consume the meta-human community,” the synopsis said.

Officially, however, Warner Bros. hasn’t talked about the story of Injustice, but you can expect a full reveal as we get closer to the game’s 2013 release date.
