Following the update, Google Maps offers coverage in more than 130 new small cities in the United States, as well as in capitals of Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama.

In a recent post on the Google Lat Long Blog, Raphaël Marinier, software engineer, Google Maps, explains that real-time traffic conditions and estimated travel times are now available for users in these cities.

Moreover, users will benefit from better coverage in parts of Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

The traffic conditions are available for Android users both through the dedicated app on their devices, as well as via a web browser.
