Assassins Creed 3 Season Pass Gets Detailed, Features Evil George Washington

After lots of teasing and a confirmation yesterday, Ubisoft has now released the first details about the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed 3, confirming that it will give customers access to five different add-ons that will appear for the game over the course of six months.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is a massive game and will feature not just a new protagonist, in the form of Connor, but also a new historical setting, that of the American Revolution.

We already saw plenty of videos and screenshots with Connor’s adventures in the game and now Ubisoft has confirmed that a special Season Pass will be released soon in order to give players a chance to buy all of the game’s future DLC at a discount before it’s released.

While this was more or less confirmed yesterday, the French publisher also revealed that five different add-ons would be included in the pass, with three different chapters in a special story-based expansion, as well as two packs for the multiplayer, which include new maps and characters.

What’s really important, however, is that the three single-player chapters will form a special campaign called “The Tyranny of King Washington”, which tells of an alternate history where George Washington succumbs to evil influences and becomes the King of America.

Check out the add-on’s description below.

As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.

The Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass will be put on sale shortly on Xbox Live, for 2400 MS Points, the PlayStation Store, for $29.99/€29.99, and can be pre-ordered at GameStop or Best Buy in the U.S.

All these add-ons will be released within six months of the game’s launch this October and those who get the Season Pass will be able to access the first DLC pack one week before others.
