Microsofts Kinect Reproduces Isaac Newtons Face [Video]

Microsoft’s Kinect technology can be used for a wide range of purposes and the best example comes directly from London, as part of the “Periodic Videos” project.

Microsoft has teamed up with the Royal Society of London in order to reproduce Isaac Newton’s face with the help of a Microsoft Kinect camera.

Basically, the researchers scanned Isaac Newton’s face mask and used the Kinect to create a digital version of the rendering.

The process is quite a tricky one, but Microsoft explained everything in detail in the video included in the article.

Although the Kinect supports such advanced scientific projects, Microsoft was recently sued by Intelligent Verification Systems because it allegedly stole the technology. Microsoft refused to comment on the matter and told us that they “look forward to addressing the claims.”
