Backstreet Boys Make Spectacular Comeback on GMA Video

As announced in mid-July, the Backstreet Boys are back. This can’t but be amazing news for fans of the biggest boyband ever created, who have been waiting for Kevin Richardson’s return for years. It’s finally happening.

The five Boys men were on Good Morning America the other day, in an appearance that heralds their official comeback into the spotlight.

Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and A.J. McLean sat down for a brief interview and performed three of their biggest hits for the eager fans who had waited hours for them to show up.

Of the three, “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” you’ll find the first embedded in the video below, at the end of this article.

We’re also embedding the interview, in which Kevin explains why he’s finally decided to be reunited with his former mates.

He explains that his departure from the incredibly successful band had nothing to do with a so-called feud with the other members, being rather a personal choice.

It just felt right at the time to leave, just as it feels right to come back now.

“I’m a person that always follows my heart and follows my gut and my heart said ‘Now’s the time.’ It just felt right. I feel inspired to make music again with these guys,” Kevin said.

The Backstreet Boys are now preparing for the release of a brand new album, their first as a 5-member band in years.

To promote it, they’ll also be embarking on a massive world tour, with Kevin remarking that 2013 will definitely prove to be their biggest, most exciting year ever.

Fans will most likely feel the same way.

Until the new album is out, here are the Backstreet Boys reunited and performing one of their biggest hits. Enjoy!
