RoboCop Gets Official Teaser Banner

Just one day after on-set photos have leaked online, offering eager fans at home, in front of the computer screens, a first look at the new RoboCop suit, the first official teaser banner is out.

Even though it doesn’t reveal much – they don’t call it a teaser for nothing, do they – the image is cool enough to warrant attention from fans.

It seems to be a close-up of the suit, but what we like best is the tagline, “We’ve got the future under control,” which goes hand in hand with the viral released some time ago, a fake ad for OmniCorp, the company that eventually creates RoboCop as the ultimate, perfect defender of public order.

“RoboCop” stars Joel Kinnaman as lead, and includes appearances from Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish, Samuel L. Jackson and Jackie Earle Haley, and is scheduled for release in August 2013.
