New Enemies Revealed for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

The development team at Platinum Games and their overseer at Kojima Productions have revealed three enemies that will be part of the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance via the Japanese magazine Famitsu.

Sundowner is a quick enemy who is able to dual wield swords.

Mistral is a cyborg who has many arms and will try to overwhelm the player with pure force.

Monsoon is a ninja enemy who is able to extend his arms in various directions.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance features Raiden as the main character and will drop the stealth gameplay that has been a staple of the series in order to allow players to use the character’s sword to take on hordes of enemies in quick succession.

Kojima is also working on a new core Metal Gear Solid titles that will be called Ground Zeroes.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 during February 2013.
