Download the XCOM: Enemy Unknown Demo via Steam

The development team at Firaxis and publisher 2K Games have launched a PC demo for their upcoming XCOM: Enemy Unknown via the Steam digital distribution service from Valve, allowing gamers to play through the first two missions of the single-player campaign.

The missions are intended as a tutorial and will allow players to get familiar with the mechanics of the game.

They are also a good way of seeing how the new XCOM: Enemy Unknown looks and will allow longtime fans of the franchise to compare it with the titles launched during the ‘90’s.

2K Games has also revealed that it plans to launch the same demo version of the game on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in order to show players how the console control scheme will work.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is set to arrive on the PC and on home consoles on October 9 in North America and October 12 in Europe.
